The BTS SIO SLAM (Services Informatiques aux Organisations, option Solutions Logicielles et Applications Métiers) is a two-year course focusing on secure web application development and application cyber-defense. This work-study BTS SIO SLAM course aims to equip students with the essential skills to design, develop and secure business applications in the face of modern cyber threats.

The main objectives of the BTS Services Informatiques aux Organisations (SIO) training program, with its Infrastructure Solutions, Systems and Networks (SISR) and Software Solutions and Business Applications (SLAM) options, are to train senior technicians capable of managing and securing network infrastructures, developing and maintaining business applications, and meeting companies’ IT needs. The SISR option prepares students to install, configure and manage computer equipment and networks, while ensuring information security. As for the SLAM option, it focuses on the design, enhancement and deployment of software solutions, taking into account the specific needs of customers. This program offers in-depth technical skills in applied computing, while raising students’ awareness of the challenges of cybersecurity and data protection in an evolving digital world.

    HECTEN is committed to regular monitoring of each student’s academic performance. In the event of results indicating a risk of failure at the final exam, these cases will receive extra attention. A meeting with a supervisor will be organized to discuss the problems encountered and explore possible solutions. If, despite these efforts, performance does not improve, the school reserves the right not to register the student for the exams, leaving him/her free to take them as an independent candidate.
