Pedagogical objectives
The main objectives of the Bachelor Commerce – Responsable d’établissement Marchand and the Titre Professionnel Responsable d’établissement Marchand programs are to train operational managers capable of managing and developing a commercial establishment in its entirety. These courses are designed to prepare students to steer the commercial offer and services, manage a team, optimize economic performance and manage the establishment on a day-to-day basis. The course focuses on the managerial, commercial and entrepreneurial skills essential for running an autonomous and profitable outlet.
These courses offer in-depth skills in sales management, team management, merchandising, financial management and performance management, while raising students’ awareness of the challenges of the customer experience, connected commerce and the importance of agile management in a constantly changing retail environment.

HECTEN is committed to regular monitoring of each student’s academic performance. In the event of results indicating a risk of failure at the final exam, these cases will receive extra attention. A meeting with a supervisor will be organized to discuss the problems encountered and explore possible solutions. If, despite these efforts, performance does not improve, the school reserves the right not to register the student for the exams, leaving him/her free to take them as an independent candidate.
